Before a shift
Confirm the driver, truck, reporting yard, and location permissions. Clock in only after the app confirms the current location or records the appropriate exception.
During a shift
Keep location services enabled during an active shift. Record off-duty breaks in the app and review any time, mileage, or distance alerts that appear.
Completing a record
Return to the reporting yard, review the daily qualification checks, certify the information, add the driver signature, and clock out. If a shift does not qualify for the intended short-haul exception, follow your carrier’s process for the required duty-status record.
